May 5 - May 19 The Pentecost Special Offering will be received at Northminster May 5 - 19, 2024. Pentecost Sunday, a day we usually try to wear something red to worship to remind us of the coming of the Holy Spirit to early Christians is May 19th.  Special information, offering envelopes, and red-and-white banks will be available on the narthex table.

Gifts to the Pentecost Offering help youth and young adults build lives of faith and hope by connecting them with each other and caring communities.  

• 10% of the offering is devoted to children at-risk, improving education and providing safe havens.  

• 25% supports Presbyterian Ministries with Youth.  

• 25% supports Young Adult Volunteers serving in communities around the world.  

• 40% of this offering stays with Northminster to develop and support programs for young people in our own church and community (programs yet to be determined).
