Thanks so much for your interest in giving to Northminster.

The Scriptures teach us that money is God’s chief competition for our heart and our attention.  By living generously, we break the hold that materialism has on our lives and we honor the One who made us.

Giving online at Northminster is safe, simple, and secure.

You can also give to Northminster by check.  Make your check payable to "Northminster Presbyterian Church" and mail it to:

Northminster Presbyterian Church
4324 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
San Diego, CA  92124

Thank you!!  And may God bless you richly for your generosity.

I’ve never done this before. How much do most people give?

The Bible refers to 10% of our income as a target for giving (it’s called tithing). But, more than 50% of all regular churchgoers give nothing. Zero. Zip.  If every attendee gave just 3-4% of their income, our church impact would more than double!

If you’ve never given before, pick a percentage of your income that you want to give away, do the math and start giving regularly. And if you’re already tithing, stay the course and watch God honor your sacrifice!

Can I schedule recurring donations?

Yes. In addition to one-time gifts, you can also specify whether you want your contribution made monthly, weekly, or twice per month.  This is absolutely the best way to give consistently with your finances.  And if you’d prefer to use your bank’s website instead of ours, you can always set up Northminster as an automatic payee on your personal checking account.

Our address is:

Northminster Presbyterian Church
4324 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
San Diego, CA  92117

By the way, another advantage to automatic giving is not having to fumble around with checkbooks and pens during the service. While the offering is being received, you can just enjoy the music and not be distracted.  You already gave!!

What if I change credit cards or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?

No sweat.  With your login information, you can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at any time, including the credit card, expiration date, gift frequency, and amount.

Is online giving secure?

Yes. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer", a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

Will I still receive a giving statement?

Yes. Just make sure your address info is current and you will receive a giving statement at the end of the year.

Who do I talk to if I have more questions?

If you have any questions at all, send an email to or use the "Contact Us" form to the left and someone from our staff will be glad to get back to you.
